PRIVACY POLICY

Introduction

The Petlja Foundation, registered in Belgrade – Savski Venac, Koste Glavinica 2, I floor, office L1 (“Petlja”), respects the privacy of users of its portal petlja.org (“Portal”) and understands the importance of protecting personal data and maintaining their confidentiality.

Purpose of the Privacy Policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you, as a user of the Portal, about what personal data we process, for what purposes, on what legal basis, and for how long, as well as your rights regarding such processing.

By accepting this Privacy Policy on your behalf or on behalf of a person for whom you are a parent or guardian, you consent to the processing of your personal data or the personal data of the person for whom you are a parent or guardian.

To the extent that consent is the legal basis for processing your personal data, and you decide to withdraw your consent, which you have the right to do at any time, your personal data will no longer be processed after such withdrawal unless there is another legal basis for processing them. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

What are personal data and what personal data do we process?

According to the Law on Personal Data Protection, personal data is any data relating to a natural person whose identity is determined or determinable, directly or indirectly, particularly based on an identity identifier such as name, identification number, location data, electronic network identifier, or one or more characteristics of their physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.

Unless otherwise stated, for personal data processed under this policy, Petlja acts as the data controller. In cases where explicitly stated, Petlja may act as the data processor.

Personal data we use when you visit the Portal

When you visit the Portal, regardless of whether you are logged in as a registered user or not, we collect the following data:

Category of Data Description of Data

The purpose of processing these data is to detect, prevent, and investigate attacks on the Portal.

Personal data collected from registered users

The Portal has the following types of registered users:

When you register independently, you are registered as a standard user and provide consent for the processing of personal data by accepting this privacy policy. A standard user must be at least 15 years old.

A younger user is a minor under 15 years old, registered by a parent or guardian who has previously registered as a standard user.

An anonymous user is registered by a standard user when creating a group of anonymous users. They are assigned a randomly generated username, and no data is collected that can identify the individual using the anonymous user account. The standard user who created the group of anonymous users is considered the data controller for those users and is responsible for fulfilling the legal obligations of the data controller.
